Tonight, I had a strange dream:
It started very good: I was on our flat's balcony and my partner came out for a moment to look for something she had left on the table, completely naked, which turned me on so much that I followed her, took her into my arms and started to kiss her.
As we were about to make a step towards the sofa, we suddenly got irritated by voices, which seemed to come from inside the flat.
We separated and shouted "Is there somebody in here?" but the voices just

continued.
I took a few steps into the corridor whilst my partner put on some clothes.
Suddenly, we spotted a grey haired lady chatting with a huge guy in a blue hoodie, asking him if somebody was in their place.
We approached and quickly figured out that at least one couple had been taken the wrong door. Whilst I successfully gathered information that we weren't the ones in error, my partner started a conversation with the lady about her library whilst I told the guy that it was time

to leave.
He agreed, but didn't start to move, as he had to wait for his friend, who suddenly appeared from the depth of the kitchen.
He was fat, wore a dirty red sweat shirt and was grinning, "just another drink" he said and was about to open a beer can from our fridge.
"Have a glass of water", I replied, slightly annoyed, as he made himself comfortable on a chair.
I took a glass to fill it with water, but the tap didn't agree with me: First, the water wouldn't come out straight, but

sprites of water where spilling all over the place.
Red Sweatshirt started to giggle, whilst I was trying to fix the mess.
At a second attempt, the water would come out boiling.
"You know, this is a tap with an integrated espresso machine" he smart-assed me.
I was at boiling point myself at this moment and hissed "Why don't you leave our flat, already?"
He laughed again: "We're a bit jumpy today, aren't we?"
Here my alarm clock sounded and the story ends, but it's a pretty good

start for either an absurd comedy or a true horror story, innit?

Mina, I always enjoy reading about your dreams.
Yes, you can certainly make a great story out of it.
I love your dreams
Not a horror story...
but it could be an absurd comedy...
ok i don't like horror stories
I do!
I can separate fantasy from reality quite well, and whilst I can totally immerse during the film or book and be totally shaken, once I finish or put them away, they don't bother me any more.
The only thing, I don't like is brutality and torture.
#Horror is, in my opinion, possibly the genre of #literature which tells most about the state of mind of its era, even more than #SciFi.
If then I only watch light horror...
haven't even seen The Exorcist...
It's always a question of personal taste: If you can't get rid of the images in your head, it's not the right genre for you.
I like the stories which question our normal reality, where evil is lurking behind the normal surface.
Jump scares and ugly creatures are not my cup of tea. They bore me.
The evil behind the normal surface is ok, a can watch that.
I've watched horror, but some things really scare me...
I like it much, it's very fascinating!
A mini Netflix series, tal vez.
All my dreams are like me trying to fill out form 777-20-AD-69_C, "application to operate a llama within a designated controlled unicycle vicinity."
And the llama keeps eating my pencil.
@mina
Absurd Comedy, reminds me somehow of Zazie dans le metro (film, I didn't read the book), don't know why.
You're having amazing dreams and excellent memory. Do you take notes after wake-up?
