Gorgeous textures on Hart's-tongue #Ferns 
These ferns are very similar in appearance to bird's nest ferns.
The #seedpods #catkins on #SilkTassel bush look like long dangling earrings, from afar.
Garrya elliptica, the coast silk-tassel or silk tassel bush. It's native to coastal Oregon & California. Many WA & BC landscapers use it for their gardens work - especially as a windbreaker bush.
#Japanese forest #grass aka Hakone grass, is a beautiful perennial #OrnamentalGrass. It was named after Mt. Hakone in central Japan.
Unlike many ornamental grasses, it's slow-growing & doesn't spread invasively.
