Randy<p>Super Heroes – Comics</p><p>In Belgium and France, we have a very traditional way of making comics — or strips in Dutch. This style is known as Franco-Belgian comics, and I bet everyone knows at least a few: Tintin, Asterix, The Smurfs, Lucky Luke… classics.<br>Why am I writing about this? Because I just got my new passport, and it’s completely themed around travel with these comic characters! When I picked it up this morning, I instantly fell in love with it — and yes, even some of my favorite characters made it inside.<br>The fun part is that it’s not just pretty; it’s also practical. Themed pages can actually prevent fraud, and some even light up under a special lamp.<br>Travel, art, and a touch of childhood nostalgia, all in one document.</p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/comicstrip" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>comicstrip</span></a> <br><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/comics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>comics</span></a><br><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/belgium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>belgium</span></a> <br><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>travel</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://diplomatie.belgium.be/en/policy/policy-areas/highlighted/more-secure-passport-full-comic-book-heroes" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">diplomatie.belgium.be/en/polic</span><span class="invisible">y/policy-areas/highlighted/more-secure-passport-full-comic-book-heroes</span></a></p>
