On my 4th attempt to install #immich on #truenas

The official instructions I've been following says "create 2 folders, named..."

This yootoober pulls up the official instructions and THAT says "create *7* folders named..."

What? wait? Recording date -5 Months. Who revised the install since to remove reference to the 5 other folders?!

<sigh> I dislike manual reconciliation.

#Immich v1.139.2 is the problem/culprit I assume - downgrading to v1.138.1 fixes my issue completely.

RE: https://sakurajima.social/notes/absnz5d584

Not sure if it has anything to do with the recent version upgrade to v1.139.2, bcos there have been people reporting this since older versions, but I'm having an issue on #Immich just yesterday where 2 of my photos uploaded then just wouldn't have their thumbnails generated, and it'd crash and restart the server each time it's attempted.

Apparently this should mean that the photos are
corrupted in some way, but like.. the original/source files aren't? One of em is a photo taken on my iPhone, and another is a screenshot also taken on that iPhone. They look/load fine on the phone locally, and elsewhere - even on the Immich storage device. The only workaround for now is to delete them from the Immich server, which isn't a real solution, since it doesn't back them up.
