Started at 0930 (9:30am) my time with 30 pounds of tomatoes.

At 1830 (6:30pm), I had ten pint jars of tomato sauce all processed and cooling off.

That's a lot more work than I realized it would be, but I'm sure the results are worth it and I know more for the next time!

BeetBear got the remaining corn from this summer's crop pulled up and into the cart. He always plans it so that the first hill planted is the last one removed. Before removal he stops to pay his respects to the corn spirits and give thanks for the excellent crop supplied. He says dad can take care of the shredding business, because he isn't going anywhere near that noisy contraption. 😀

I whole heartedly recommend The Garden Simulator Cozy game for anyone who likes 1. Gardening 2. Simulator games 3. And mild memory games.

For me the game is bit hard since I need to write things down to remember them (no tagging ingredients system), but otherwise it is wonderful hyperfocus game. (:

I borrowed the game from library and can still see myself sinking a lot (more) time into it.

Processing 30 pounds of tomatoes into tomato sauce is some work! So far, these have been cleaned, deskinned, cooked down some, ran through a food mill and now the sauce is cooking to thicken before I can it.

Tomatoes, green peppers, parsley all came from the garden.
