Ich sehe nicht, dass hier irgendein Mechanismus, sei er sozialer oder juristischer Art, den Genozid aufhalten könnte. Il disagio era palpabile nella sala conferenze.

#BTselem ha intitolato il suo report “Il nostro genocidio” – ed è proprio di genocidio che si tratta, ed è nostro.
Questa drammatica dichiarazione è stata accolta in Israele con quasi totale indifferenza.
Ma anche questo dimostra la gravità della situazione.
Il genocidio viene quasi sempre negato da coloro che lo perpetrano.

Il significato è pesante.
Vivere in un Paese i cui soldati stanno compiendo un genocidio è una macchia indelebile, un volto distorto che ci guarda dallo specchio, una sfida personale per ogni israeliano. ⬇️4

"Our Genocide": Israeli human rights groups declare Israel committing genocide in Gaza

B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel have published reports concluding that Israel is committing #genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The organizations document mass killing, destruction of infrastructure, forced displacement, and systematic dismantling of healthcare systems over 21 months of military operations.

According to #haaretz numerous international organizations have reached similar conclusions, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Doctors Without Borders, and several Israeli genocide researchers and Holocaust scholars.

B'Tselem warns the genocide may expand to other areas where Palestinians live under Israeli rule and calls for urgent international action using all available means under international law to halt the violence.
