When first I read F. Pohl's & C.M. Kornbluth's 1952 SciFi novel "The Space Merchants" and its 1984 sequel "The Merchants' War", I considered them to be brilliantly written, funny and imaginative.
This hasn't changed much, but now, the laughter comes harder, considering how prophetic they were for their time.

@mina Definitely. A favourite one for a long time. I'm just disappointed that they didn't name it "The merchants of venus".
