@republica @parismarx Most open source dev happens in Europe, we are already a powerhouse, the only thing that's different is how much folks monetize, not sure EU ever wants to copy silicon Valley, why would it?
Europe proves that having somewhat decent social security (it can always be improved), frees people up to invent and work on things they enjoy. It's open proof socialism is the way forward.
